We are catering to many World Bank projects in addition to IGR projects manufacturing facilities are state of art producing Polymeric Insulators, Medium Voltage Metering units, Low Voltage Metering units, Feeder Pillers. In addition, Company does Power Transformer ’s repairs upto 150 MVA/330KV. We have in house facilities as well as site repairs in our specialty. Condition monitoring is also undertaken by Skipper Nigeria.

EPC Contracts & Substations
Skipper is the key player in the field of EPC contracts in Nigeria, West Africa and Middle East region. The transmission up to 400 KV, Sub transmission and distribution EPC contracts includes National Integrated Power projects, World Bank aided Reactive Power Compensation Project, MV Metering Panel Project, Solar Mini Grid and Street lighting systems, Automatic Meter Reading ( AMR ) Systems. These projects are completed with focus on qualitative improvements in the Power system Networks.
Polymeric Insulators
Our New generation polymeric Insulators made from world’s best silicon rubber have been designed to withstand wide range of environmental conditions and are known for their reliable performance. We design and manufacture insulators ranging from 11 to 400 KV for heavily polluted environments for the field of transmission and distribution. Our products have been approved by CPRI India and HIVOTEC Nigeria and are made in accordance to the IEC 61109. Our product range for 11 and 33 KV covers both Pin and suspension type of Insulators.
Medium Voltage Metering Units
SKIPPER is in field of manufacturing metering cubicles from 11KV to 33KV voltage ranges suitable for indoor / outdoor applications. The company has been a major supplier to various state electricity boards, utilities and industrial units requiring medium voltage connections. The units are compactly designed for indoor/ outdoor applications keeping in mind the space limitations. The metering cubicles are supplied with side entry or bottom entry for cables as required by the customer
Transformer Repairs and Upgrading:
Keeping in view our long and expertise in the field of Design, Manufacturing & Testing of Power/ Distribution/ Rectifier transformers, Skipper has offered its services to its valued clients, Skipper thus provides refurbishment & transformer at the fraction of cost of New transformer.
Repairs include: Inspection, Testing, Core repairs, refurbishment and restacking complete rewinds and LTC repairs and adjustment.
Uprating includes: KVA increase, change in voltage, clamping improvements, use of modern insulating materials.
