Skipper has been serving the power sector in India and across the globe since 1986.
Skipper commenced its operations with manufacturing of substation equipment and subsequently forward integrated to EPC (Engineering Procurement and Construction) of EHV transmission lines and substations for utilities, institutions and industries up to 400 kV.
Skipper also undertakes automation projects and Balance of Plant projects in power generating stations. Recently, Skipper diversified into Power Generation with a project entailing the setup of a hydro power plant. Several thermal power plants are in advanced stages of finalisation as well.
SkipperSeil Limited is a part of SkipperSeil Group, which is internationally renowned in Power and Infrastructure sectors. Skipper has created a niche in serving clients in power transmission, distribution and generation across sectors and nationalities. Skipper along with its parent group offers consultancy, EPC services and manufactures & supply products in the electrical and power generation sector to over 50 countries around the globe including the regions of Middle East, South-East Asia, Europe, Africa and America.
Most recently, SkipperSeil has ventured into the green power solutions with launch of Green Generators which is a standalone end to end ‘Plug and Play’ solution.
SkipperSeil Group has its global footprints through its subsidiaries in India, Nigeria, Ghana and Middle East, where Skipper-make products are manufactured and/or projects of sub-stations, transmission lines and power generation plants are undertaken.

Skipper Electrical (Middle East) FZE (SEME) is an international manufacturer of a wide range of indoor and outdoor Low Voltage, Medium voltage and High voltage distribution Switchgear and Power Equipment.
Skipper Nigeria Ltd. has successfully executed EPC projects in the field of Transmission lines and Substation up to 132 KV for Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN)
Skipper Ghana is head-quartered in Accra, a Gateway for West Africa. Skipper Ghana’s purview extends beyond Ghana into Republic of Togo, Cote D'Ivoire and other neighbouring countries.
Skipper Kenya Ltd. has successfully executed EPC projects in the field of Transmission lines and Substation up to 132 KV for Transmission companies of Kenya.

Mr. Jitender Sachdeva
Group President
He calls himself An Accidental Entrepreneur, he is the founder of the Company. Under his passionate leadership, Skipper has touched new and unparalleled heights within a span of 36 years. An innovator who developed his business programs and ideas without any personal aid. He started an independent venture, Skipper Electricals in the year 1986, to manufacture export-oriented Power & Distribution Transformers and Substation equipment. Mr. Sachdeva set the vision of the company as:-
"To build a power and infrastructure enterprise best known for its people, performance & partnership”. In the beginning of his career he believed in few fundamentals of business to grow such as- “Think Big, Go Beyond"
Based on this principle & since 1999, he passionately implemented midterm missions to actualise the vision of the company. Thus the era from year 2000-2016 saw massive expansion of Skipper across India, SAARC, Middle East & Africa and financial performance rose exponentially. From 2016 onwards ‘Think Big, Go Beyond’ was modified as, “Consolidate and modernise to become leader in selective field of EHV Transformers manufacturing, Selective EPC & Service (Reverse Engineering & Re Manufacturing).”
Since 2016, he consolidated SkipperSeil across borders. In India from 4 small to medium Transformer units to a massive power transformer and instrument transformer unit-5 in Bhiwadi which is still getting regular investments from IGR thus poised to be 15,000MVA unit by 2025. Skipper Nigeria warehousing was consolidated to one big unit with 400 containers storage and beyond. Manufacturing got metering & storage power manufacturing unit with state of the art experience centres and lawns. GTA engineering service is expanding into large generators and turbines reverse engineering along with transformers and is one of its kind in the entire West Africa.
Joint Ventures in Distribution transformers, VCBs, meters across Nigeria is now in operation with world class associates.
Mr. Sachdeva’s formidable presence in the Indian engineering industry has been recognised and awarded numerous times like the ‘Udyog Pratibha Award’ (2014), ‘Jewel of India Award’ (2015), ‘Quality Excellence National Award by EEPC’ (2015) to name a few. Being a futurist, Mr. Sachdeva is now spearheading the company into the green energy sector. He is the key motivator and a mentor to the new Team of Skipperites.
